Over on Book Riot this week…

 

• The American Library Association Council this week voted to revoke the Melvil Dewey name from one of their top awards, citing Dewey’s racism,  antisemitism, and sexual harassment.

 

• Where to begin reading Brené Brown books. As someone who loves her work and wants more people to read it, I hope this helps get more folks started.

 

This week we also had a full episode of the Hey YA podcast. Eric and I talked about the Hunger Games prequel coming next spring, along with our favorite reads from the first half of the year and some excellent YA comics on our TBRs.
