After successful YA Blogger meet ups the last few ALA conferences, we’re going to continue the tradition and do it again. Like last year’s meet up New Orleans, I’m joining forces with the ladies of YA Highway to make it happen. If you’re a YA blogger/YA author/YA enthusiast, you are more than welcome to join us.
We’ll be meeting at the Degrees Wine & Patio Bar in the Marriott at 8 pm on Saturday, June 23. As usual, it’s a pay your own way kinda thing, and we keep it laid back. We’d love to see you there, and we’ll have more details as they come together and as the day gets closer.

It’s back!
We’ll have another YA blogger/publisher/author meet up in New Orleans during ALA’s Annual Convention. Details aren’t set up yet, but we want to know it’s in the works, and we want your input. Let us know you’re interested in coming and what day works best, and we’ll see what we can work out.
With the number of other exciting programs going on at ALA, we’ve narrowed down our best days to Saturday night or Sunday night. If you want to come, fill out the form, and we’ll make sure to get you on the guest list.
Of course, you’ll get more updates such as location, costs, and confirmed guests as ALA grows closer right here. Feel free to spread the word. We had an excellent time in San Diego, so let’s do it again.

Since it's a hotel bar without cover, they probably won't card you to get in, so I wouldn't be worried about coming!

Definitely I'll make every effort to be there. I'll only be at ALA on Saturday and not sure how long I'll be in Anaheim that evening, but I'm really hoping. It sounds fun!

Awesome! I'm hoping I have no other commitments after the YALSA mixer at Morton's. BTW I have linkys going here for people attending ALA and who want to meet up or share their links. I have to make these cheat sheets for big events now, especially since searching for someone's twitter handle who isn't an author or a publisher's imprint is tricky on a smartphone. See you all soon!
